PARTNERS
“Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Take wives and have sons and daughters; …multiply there, and do not decrease. But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
- Jeremiah 29v7
FAITHFUL PRESENCE
Immanuel's partnership model is designed to embrace proximity and calling, with an emphasis on creating long term relationships and neighbors. As such, the majority of our partnerships are faith-based and local. Immanuel offers three ways to serve our partners while supporting the broader needs of our neighborhoods: Drives, Community Events, and Individual Support. Details on upcoming opportunities can be found below…
DRIVES
Each month, we host resource drives that both provide for the material needs of our partners while creating partner awareness among parishioners. These are most often diaper, food, and clothing donations drives and items can be dropped off on Sundays at Immanuel.
Upcoming Drives
This October, we’re honored to feature Memorial Drive Ministries. MDM is a church-based non-profit in Clarkston, GA that fosters diverse worshipping communities, innovative social services, and transformative relationships within the most diverse square mile in America.
MDM is asking Immanuel members to assist with their 2025 Coat Drive, in which members can drop gently-used coats of all sizes off at the church.
You can also purchase items on the MDM wishlist HERE.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
We have multiple community-wide volunteer opportunities for all ages and stages of life. These provide the volunteer capacity necessary for partner programs to thrive, while also creating an environment for relationships between parishioners to grow.
Upcoming Community Events
We’re inviting the Immanuel community to volunteer with MDM’s onsite partner, Friends of Refugees, supporting mothers and their young children (ages 0–4) in a Refugee Family Literacy program. We’re seeking early childhood education volunteers to help create a language-rich, safe, and playful environment for these children.
Opportunities are available Monday–Thursday, 8:45am–12:15pm — volunteer 1–4 days per week or as a substitute. A commitment of at least one semester (ideally the full school year) is preferred.
MDM is hoping to recruit 5–8 new volunteers.

Our Partners
Most of our partners have multiple individual opportunities to serve. Immanuel has a Partner Champion who serves on Immanuel's Outreach Committee. This Champion functions as the lead contact and presence for each individual partner.
To learn more and get connected with one of our partners directly, contact the partner directly at one of the sites below. For more information on partners and how to get involved, set up a meeting with a member of our committee at partners@immanuelatl.org.
