Kids
Welcome to Immanuel Kids!
We are excited to welcome your family to our church! Immanuel Kids classes for kids birth through 5th grade are available every Sunday morning. No registration required.
At Immanuel Kids, we seek to create a space where kids can be loved well, while learning how to love God passionately and love their neighbors purposefully.
If you have any questions about anything in Immanuel Kids, please reach out to our Kids Pastor, Becky Durham, HERE.

SUNDAYs at immanuel
Is it your first time at Immanuel? Simply let a volunteer at the Kids Desk know it’s your first Sunday and they will help you check-in your child and walk you to their classroom.
SOMETHING FOR EVERY AGE
Kids are grouped by age, and every group hears the same Bible story on Sunday mornings.
-
Nursery
0 - 1 years.
Babies are held, rocked, fed, and read to by the same familiar faces each week. It's a quiet, low-stimulation room, and we'll text you if your little one needs you.
-
Toddlers
2 - 3 years.
A morning built for movement: songs with motions, a short Bible story, and lots of open play. The rhythm is the same every week, so it gets familiar fast.
-
Pre-K
4 - 5 years.
A Bible story told with pictures, a memory verse set to music, a craft tied to the lesson, and time to run around with friends.
-
K - 1st Grade
Ages 5 - 7.
Kids hear the story, talk through questions they can actually answer, and put it into practice with a hands-on activity and a group game.
-
2nd - 5th Grade
Ages 7 - 11.
Kids open their own Bibles, dig into the passage together in small groups, and connect it to what's actually going on in their week.

KIDS MILESTONES
“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
Colossians 2:6-7
ROOTED
For our youngest members (Birth to Kindergarten), our hope is to introduce them to the love of God and the body of Christ in the church. Alongside our regular activities, we celebrate and mark two major milestones for our little ones:
Birth - 4 Year Old Baptisms (May & June)
Kindergarten Entrance Celebration (August)
Built Up
For our kids in elementary through 7th grade, we seek to create a space where they can explore faith and practice. We want them to learn for themselves how to read the Bible, pray, participate in worship, be active in the church, and serve their local community. The milestones we mark during these stages are:
3rd - 5th Grade Kids Foundations Class (March & April)
5th Grade Graduation Celebration (May)
