GROUPS AT IMMANUEL
Growing together as disciples of Jesus, seeking his kingdom and the flourishing of our neighbors.
These groups are church-led spaces of connection where we get to know each other, walk with each other, and practice discerning what the Holy Spirit is up to, so that we can participate. In this way, we grow together as disciples, becoming a healthy family of God and a functioning body of Christ.
TABLE GROUPS
Connecting around tables.
Groups of 6-12 people who share three meals together in the fall or spring.
Table Groups are low-lift gatherings in homes or restaurants, centered around conversation. They’re an easy way into community life. Hosts can give their group a focus, like a shared interest or life stage, or keep it open.
NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS
Connecting in proximity.
Groups of people who live near each other meet weekly in homes, across ages and demographics.
In Neighborhood Groups, we grow in friendships and we connect our life with God and our life in the world through conversation, prayer, and scripture/sermon reflection.
DISCIPLESHIP BANDS
Connecting in mutuality.
Small groups of 3-5 men or women meet 2-4 times a month, sharing conversation around five common commitments and five regular questions.
In Discipleship Bands, we help each other discern God’s activity in our lives and support each other through good questions, deep listening, and prayer.
