YOUTH

The Middle and High school years in a student’s life are highly significant in shaping their understanding of God and spiritual matters. A team of passionate volunteers work alongside our Youth Pastor to create fun, engaging, and formative environments for our teens to grow in.

KIDS & YOUTH MILESTONES

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

Colossians 2:6-7

ROOTED

For our youngest members (Birth to Kindergarten), our hope is to introduce them to the love of God and the body of Christ in the church. Alongside our regular activities, we celebrate and mark two major milestones for our little ones:

  1. Birth - 4 Year Old Baptisms (May & June)

  2. Kindergarten Entrance Celebration (August)

Built Up

For our kids in elementary through 7th grade, we seek to create a space where they can explore faith and practice. We want them to learn for themselves how to read the Bible, pray, participate in worship, be active in the church, and serve their local community. The milestones we mark during these stages are:

  1. 3rd - 5th Grade Kids Foundations Class  (March & April)

  2. 5th Grade Graduation Celebration (May)

Established

For kids from 8th through 12th grades, our desire is to support them with tools to create independent stability in their spiritual journey. The milestones for this age group help to support and celebrate this independence and ownership:

  1. Confirmation  (May)

  2. 11th-12th Grade Pilgrimage (Summer)

  3. College Entrance Celebration (August)
